Apple will introduce frameless iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max no earlier than 2024

New iPhones with a bezel-less front panel will appear in the world no earlier than 2024. The Korean edition of Elec suggests that these models will be the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. Meanwhile, the base models of the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will retain the unibrow.

Frameless models will also have a pronounced selfie camera. According to the publication, it will be hidden in future models, but this will happen only by 2026. At the moment, it is difficult for developers to create a completely frameless front panel, behind which you can hide the Face ID biometric sensor at the same time. Insiders believe that this will happen with the release of only the 18th generation of the iPhone.

Smaller screen notches are now available on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. On the basic iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, the developers left the classic “monobrow”. All future iPhone 15s, which will be introduced in the fall of 2023, will be equipped with a “Dynamic Island” block on the screen, which includes a front camera and a Face ID sensor.

Prior to this, the Redmi electronics brand, which is part of the ecosystem of the Chinese company Xiaomi, introduced 300W fast charging technology. However, there are no mass-produced smartphones equipped with such charging yet. The time to fully charge this gadget is only five minutes. The company backs up this claim with a 40-second video demonstrating the charging process in time-lapse video mode.
